- Nothing changes without your OK. Scanning only reads; every removal is confirmed.
- Trash first, with Undo. Removed files go to the Trash, and History lets you put them back.
- System files are off-limits. macOS, top-level folders and other apps' essential data are locked.
- Your files stay yours. Scans happen on your Mac. Nothing about your files is sent to us.

Questions
Who can watch my recordings?
Anyone you give the link to, unless you make the video private, add a password or set it to expire (Pro). You can turn comments and downloads on or off for each video, and trashing a video stops its link right away.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Anyone with the link watches in their browser. Commenting and reacting need a free HubAxis account, so you know who said what.
Where are my recordings kept?
The full-quality original stays on your Mac. The copy you share is stored with our cloud provider in the United States, and deleted 30 days after you move it to the trash (or right away if you delete it for good).
Are transcripts and summaries private?
They're made on your Mac by Apple's on-device models. When you share a video, its transcript, summary and chapters go with it, so viewers get captions and you can search your library.
Is the cleanup safe?
HubAxis never removes anything without asking, sends removed files to the Trash so you can put them back, and refuses to touch system files. Back-ups are checked file by file before the original is removed.
Why does it ask for Full Disk Access and Screen Recording?
macOS hides some folders (like Mail, Messages and parts of your Library) unless you allow it, so Full Disk Access lets HubAxis find more. Screen Recording is what lets it record your screen. Each permission is asked for when you first use the feature that needs it.
What happens if I cancel Pro?
You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then HubAxis goes back to Free. Videos you already shared keep working, and your files stay exactly where they are.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 26 Tahoe or later, on any Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later).
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If HubAxis isn't for you, email codytuma@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it.
